Scotts Bluff County Fair Junior Livestock Sale


It was a double sale for Casey Huckfeldt's County Reserve Grand Champion Beef entry during the Scotts Bluff County Junior Livestock Sale on Saturday, Aug. 4, at the fairgrounds in Mitchell, Neb. Adam Reed, left, representing Paul Reed Construction, paid $5,500 on the first round, then offered the animal up for resale, purchased by Jimmy Reinhardt, center, of D&C Steel for $4,200.

Rory Zweifel, left, representing a buyer group, paid $7,000 to Carson Wilmot for her County Grand Champion Beef entry. The buyer group included Sterling Livestock, Sheridan County Livestock, Otte Feeds, Tom Kemp Livestock, Manley Trucking and Crawford Livestock.

Jeff Pieper and Pinnacle Bank paid $1,300 to Lizabeth Marker for her County Reserve Grand Champion Swine.

The County Reserve Grand Champion Poultry entry raised and shown by Emma Leggott, right, earned her $500 from Doug House and Western States Bank during the Scotts Bluff County Junior Livestock Sale on Saturday, Aug. 4, at the fairgrounds in Mitchell, Neb.
